I Spy is often refered to as a spotter´s game for children. Your probably young at heart so why not try some spotting in London?

Here´s a challenge for you...

London Animal Statues

There are many statues of animals in Central London. Some big and some small. Challenge yourself and see if you can spot ten of them while strolling around the capital.

Below: "The Animals in War Monument" is a trubute to all animals that served, suffered and died alongside the British Commonwealth and Allied forces in the wars and conflicts of the 20th centyry. Park Lane (Hyde Park).

Below: This bronze statue of an Elephant stands outside Crown Aspinalls in Curzon Street, Mayfair. Don´t  go inside this Casino!

Below: "Boy with Dolphin" on Cheyne Walk.  Made by David Wynne. Cheyne Walk is a historic street in Chelsea, by the River Thames. David Lloyd George lived at number 10, Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull at number 48.

Below: This Penguin made by Yolanda vanderGaast is located outside St Clement´s Building, London School of Economics (Clare Market).

Below: Lioness and Lesser Kudu in Upper Grosvenor Gardens by Victoria Station. You can feel the lioness closing in on her prey.

Below: Guy the Gorilla stands near the main entrance to London Zoo (Regent´s Park). Guy the Gorilla (1946-1978) was one of London Zoo´s best-loved animals.

Below: Hodge the Cat. Opposite Doctor Johnson´s House in Gough Square is a statue of his favourite cat Hodge. Johnson used to buy him oysters- seen on the statue to the left. As Johnson said "A very fine Cat indeed".

Below: "Girl with a Dolphin" by sculptor David Wynne is situated on the North bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge.

Below: The Paddington Bear sits at the Paddington Railway Station. Everybody loves this bear with his hat, suitcase and sign saying "Please look after this bear. Thank you."

Below: "The Spitalfields Goat". Kenny Hunter's hand-sculpted goat stands atop a stack of packing crates to create the 3.5metre high I Goat, which was inspired by Spitalfields' rich, ongoing social history.(Spitalfields Market).
