1. Jimi Hendrix

The greatest guitarist of all times lived at 23 Brook Street 1968 -1969 with his girlfriend Kathy Etchingham. (Mayfair)

2. Bob Marley

Marley lived here at 34 Ridgemount Gardens, WC 1.

3. Small Faces

The Samll Faces manager Don Arden had his office at 52- 55 Carnaby Street, W 1, from 1965 to 1967. The group spent £ 12,000 in 1966  shopping on Carnaby Street.

4.Keith Moon

Legendary rock drummer with The Who performed here at the also legendary Marquee Club at 90 Wardour Street, W 1.

 5. Jimi Hendrix UK promotion gig

Hendrix played a lunch-time promotion gig here at 9 Kingly Street, W1. He played "Hey Joe", "Stone Free" and "Wild Thing".

6. The Bee Gees

Brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb lived here at 76 Brook Street, W 1. Same side of the street as Jimi Hendrix!

7. David Bowie album cover location

The cover photograph for Bowies Ziggy Stardust album was shot here at 23 Heddon Street, W 1 (Mayfair).

8. Paul and Linda

The Bag O´Nails Club is at 9 Kingly Street, W1. Paul asked her to accompany him to the Speakeasy club. She accepted. The rest is history.


9.Brian Epstein and the Beatles

Beatles manger Brian Epstein worked here at 5 - 6 Argyll Street, W 1.

10. John Lennon and Yoko Ono´s first home

John and Yoko shared their first home here at Montagu Square in Marylebone in 1968. It was here a nude photograph of the couple was taken which formed the cover of the Two Virgins album.

11. Bob Dylan´s first UK gig


Bob Dylan made his first UK appearence at The Water Rats, 328 Grays Inn Road, WC1 in 1962.
